Ashland Veterans
Appreciation Events

The Ashland County Veterans Appreciation Day began in 2013 as a way to honor our local veterans. The first event was held at Freer Field in Ashland and served hotdogs to attendees. Now, the event has grown to an attendance of almost 6,000 people, offering food, entertainment, displays, demonstrations, flights, and boasts one of the areas best fireworks displays. 

This annual event is hosted in conjunction with other events throughout the year, including the annual 5k, Vietnam Veterans dinners, and more. The event is free for all to attend and is funded by donations from the community. Any left over funds are donated to help local veterans in need and to veteran oriented charitable causes. Come and enjoy, and help us celebrate our heroes!
